Prairie Meadows Announces 2021 Legacy Grant Recipients

June 23, 2021 – Altoona, IA. Prairie Meadows’ Board of Directors approved $2.5 million in grants at their monthly board meeting today. The 2021 Legacy Grant recipients include endeavors to improve historic sites, renovate educational facilities, enhance early childhood development, create all-inclusive recreation areas, and more.

“We are so humbled by the support the community and our many patrons have given us these past 12 months,” said Prairie Meadows President/CEO Gary Palmer. “Their support has made it possible for us to grant dollars to these remarkable organizations.”
