United Way Day at the Races

Fundraising included a silent auction featuring two custom wrapped coke machines for Iowa and Iowa State, a 55” TV, Yeti cooler, and much more. Donations were collected for participating in kid’s activities which included face painting, balloon animals, and spin art. Donations were also accepted at all retail outlets by rounding up to the next dollar on purchases. In addition, coins were collected from the fountain at the main casino entrance.

United Way Day at the Races helped raise awareness about United way’s mission of leading the fight for health, education, and the financial stability of every Iowan.

Prairie Meadows continues to partner with United Way through employee donation campaigns and employee focused fundraisers.
