Science Center Awarded $40,000 Grant Innovation Lab Programming

The Science Center of Iowa, the state’s science education resource that serves more than 300,000 people annually, received a $40,676 Community Betterment Grant from Prairie Meadows in July 2019. The gift will fund ongoing programming in its new Innovation Lab, which will be home to a variety of experiences, including workshops on new tools and technologies and teacher professional development.
