Casino

1. What kind of casino games does Prairie Meadows offer?
   Prairie Meadows has 1,750 slot machines - one cent, nickel, quarter, dollar, five dollar, twenty-five dollar and one hundred dollar machines; plus your favorite table games, including Texas Hold'em, Blackjack, Pai Gow, Craps and Roulette.

2. What kind of accommodations do you have for handicapped guests in the slot area?
   All of our slot machines are wheelchair accessible. Our Casino Floor Attendants are happy to assist you with any special requests you may have.

3. What is the minimum age to enter the casino floor slot area?
   You must be 21 years of age to be on the casino floor.

4. Does Security ID Guests at the door?
   Yes, Prairie Meadows is committed to responsible gaming and that includes ensuring that our customers are of the legal age to enter the facility.

5. Why do you move the slot machines around to various locations?
   Prairie Meadows constantly monitors and adds new slot machines to give our guests the best variety available.

Racing

1. What kind of racing does Prairie Meadows offer?
   Prairie Meadows offers Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse and Harness racing.

2. Can children watch the races at Prairie Meadows?
   Yes, all age groups are allowed to view races from the Track Level, the Grandstand Level 2, and the Clubhouse Level 4. Anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

3. What time are the races?
   The post times vary according to the type of racing, and the day of the week. Link to the 2007 Racing Schedule

4. How many races do you run per race day?
   Typically we run ten races on a race day. Races are approximately 20 minutes apart, so the entire race program lasts about 3 1/2 hours.

5. How can I get a job taking care of the horses?
   All the horses are taken care of by licensed trainers. It is not unusual for those trainers to need help in the barns. If you have some experience working with horses, contact the racing office at 967-1206 for more details.

Entertainment

1. Can I bring in food or drinks to the concert?
   No additional food or drinks will be allowed into the facility. There are many food and beverage outlets located throughout the facility.

2. Can I bring cameras (still or video) into the concerts?
   Entertainers do not allow cameras of any kind to be brought in and/or used.

3. How do I get items autographed by the concert entertainers?
   Due to the volume of demand it would create, it is generally not possible for the entertainer to comply with any requests for autographs. Occasionally, artists will provide an opportunity for guest autographs. Those opportunities, however, are available strictly at the discretion of each artist.

   Yes we do. Our 10 and under children's menu is available evenings. We also have special pricing on buffets for children 10 and under:

   There is no charge for a racing table for the general public.

   Yes, however anyone who is not 21 years of age or older must be accompanied by an adult.

7. Do I have to be a member of the Prairie Gold Club to take advantage of the $3.50 senior breakfast on Tuesdays?
   Yes, you do need to be a member of the Prairie Gold Club to take advantage of this special. If you are a Prairie Gold member and over age 55, you can receive a 15% discount on meals in Champions Restaurant as well as in the Gift Shop. It is free to sign-up to become a Prairie Gold member. Once you become a Prairie Gold member you can take advantage of this special as well as other wonderful benefits.

   The application information is reviewed by H.R. to assure minimum qualifications are met. It is then sent to the department for their review. Due to the many candidates who are interested in employment with Prairie Meadows, we are not able to interview all applicants.
